ravelt | RAVE 0003 [Video/Action]

[It's been about a week since it happened. A week since he'd returned from his mallynap and forced under the demonic control of Sacrifar. Thanks to an intervention by Edward Elric, Haru was stopped, and the sword's control released over him was broken.

He'd spent the rest of the week in the clinic, unconscious from a combination of the strain the sword had placed on him, the wounds he'd suffered and severe exhaustion. Also maybe blunt force trauma from being hit by a metal arm. Maybe. Plue sat on top of him the entire time, watching him to see when he'd wake up. He'd come to on Monday, but his mind was kind of a fog, spending the day in a daze as he tried to piece together what had happened. It was only the following morning, after sleeping the previous night and his subconscious painting the picture together for him in a rather graphic nightmare, that the full weight of what had transpired truly hit him.]

I'M SORRYYYYYY!

[Haru, always having been the emotional sort, has tears streaming down his face. He takes a moment to sniffle, wiping his face with his bedsheets. Come on, Haru, don't cry all over the journal. That's just gross.]

I... [Sniff.] I know apologizing's not gonna make up for what I did last week... I hurt some people, and I caused a lot of damage, and I... [He doesn't want to admit that he also actually killed someone. He has no idea how he's ever going to cope with that one. He's never killed anyone before...]

But still... I'll say it a thousand times if I have to. I'm sorry! If I hurt you, I get it if you can't forgive me for what I did. I was way outta control there... But... I gotta make things right, somehow. So give me that chance. That's all I can really ask...

[He cuts off the feed there. He'll spend the rest of the day in the clinic, in case anyone would rather come see him.]

This isn't an argument. This is you being stubborn and refusing to accept what you know is the truth.

But Shuda, I have to be responsible for my actions. That's something Dad'd be telling me right now...

Taking responsibility and blaming yourself aren't the same thing. That's also something he'd tell you if he were here. You know that as well as I do.

[Haru just gives the biggest frown ever.]

[Fucking hell, Shuda, he hates you and your smug ass so much.

Only not really because he's Haru and he's incapable of hating anyone whose name isn't Branch.]

[Hey, Gale told him to look after you, so that's what he's gonna do. Deal with it.]

How's your arm? Any lingering pain?

[He stares down at his arm, flexing his fingers a few times before a twinge of pain runs through it.]

It's a lot more painful than last time. [Probably because of the prolonged period of time he used it and how banged up he got.]

[Shuda frowns, clearly not pleased by that response. It's not likely to be as dangerous here as it was back in their world due to the lower frequency of combat, but that still isn't a good sign.]

Have you told the doctors about it?

No... Not yet, at least.

Then you should, just so they're aware of what's going on. It'd be for the best.

I guess. But it's not like it's an injury you can treat with bandages and medicine.

And there are also healers here who can treat you with a lot more than just bandages and medicine. You never know-- someone here might be able to help you with it. But you'll never find out if you don't ask.
