[It's been about a week since it happened. A week since he'd returned from his mallynap and forced under the demonic control of Sacrifar. Thanks to an intervention by Edward Elric, Haru was stopped, and the sword's control released over him was broken.

He'd spent the rest of the week in the clinic, unconscious from a combination of the strain the sword had placed on him, the wounds he'd suffered and severe exhaustion. Also maybe blunt force trauma from being hit by a metal arm. Maybe. Plue sat on top of him the entire time, watching him to see when he'd wake up. He'd come to on Monday, but his mind was kind of a fog, spending the day in a daze as he tried to piece together what had happened. It was only the following morning, after sleeping the previous night and his subconscious painting the picture together for him in a rather graphic nightmare, that the full weight of what had transpired truly hit him.]

I'M SORRYYYYYY!

[Haru, always having been the emotional sort, has tears streaming down his face. He takes a moment to sniffle, wiping his face with his bedsheets. Come on, Haru, don't cry all over the journal. That's just gross.]

I... [Sniff.] I know apologizing's not gonna make up for what I did last week... I hurt some people, and I caused a lot of damage, and I... [He doesn't want to admit that he also actually killed someone. He has no idea how he's ever going to cope with that one. He's never killed anyone before...]

But still... I'll say it a thousand times if I have to. I'm sorry! If I hurt you, I get it if you can't forgive me for what I did. I was way outta control there... But... I gotta make things right, somehow. So give me that chance. That's all I can really ask...

[He cuts off the feed there. He'll spend the rest of the day in the clinic, in case anyone would rather come see him.]

[And there's a youth crying back.]

Wait. Maybe you should keep going, do this as some kind of weirdo science experiment that like half the community has probably already tested. How wet does this system have to be until it's completely unusable? Like what's going to happen if you just pour more and more water on the thing, is it going to short circuit or what? Maybe it's just going to outright dissolve like a snail exposed to salt. Can these pages even dissolve, they look like they're fucking magic or something.

Maybe these pages are made out of cowhide or something, that's why they're waterproof.

That's the most shitty explanation. If you're going to have magic technojournals you should at least think about these kinds of things, or maybe make them more obviously magical for those of us who sit puzzling the mysteries of this halfcocked bullshit.

[She had heard of the incident that happened in the plaza - vaguely as it mostly seemed to be resolved by the time she had gotten on the scene.

But it seemed like the clinic needed more hands that week, so she had occasionally looked in to see where she could assist -

And there he was, the boy who had taken the place of her brother during the invasion. What had made it strange, somehow, was the fact that they were complete strangers. Easier to not have anything to do with one another's lives after everything.

Still it wouldn't hurt to... check up on him and learn what he was really like. Although for those first few times, he was still unconscious.

Though by the journal announcement today, he seemed to be awake and, upset. Not the sort of thing a former sister felt comfortable addressing on the journal, but she makes it a point to stop by his room a little later. What did one bring in this sort of situation? Eventually she settles on a small gift basket of fresh fruits and bakery pastries. No time to really make them herself, after all.

She knocks at the door. It seems to be open anyway, but, she'd rather not barge in.]

I can choose to use it, but once I make that choice, that's it for me.

[Haru's never really cared about how the journal works. It's just kind of like a fancy cell phone to him.]

He was sitting up in bed, staring down at his journal when Raine stopped by, preoccupied by whatever was in it. No one seemed to be angry at him for what happened, but... He couldn't help but still feel guilty over what happened. He hurt a lot of people out there. He killed someone. He almost killed Elie and Shuda... It ate away at him what had happened there, even if it wasn't entirely his fault.

He doesn't look up when the door's knocked on, though he does respond.]
