ravelt | RAVE 0004 [Video]

[When the camera clicks on, it first pans over to what looks like a desolate wasteland. There are bodies and body parts strewn everywhere, craters marring the landscape, and the only thing breaking the erie silence was a strong breeze occasionally cutting across the land.

Suddenly, the camera shifts, giving an up close and personal look of someone's purple iris. It then pans back, revealing Haru making a skeptical face at the journal, as he tries to get it to work. He uses it so infrequently for making posts he still barely has an idea of how to use it properly. Thankfully, he takes notice that the thing seems to be working.]

Ah, cool! It's working! [He flashes a big grin at the camera as he puts the journal down on the ground.

He pauses for a moment, contemplating what exactly he's going to say now that he's got the chance to say it. It's really something he should have considered BEFORE turning on the journal, but, ah well. Spur of the moment ideas and all that. Finally, he opts to speak up.]

Hey, some of you guys out there use the Battle Dome pretty regularly, right? I was wonderin' if I could borrow some of your training simulations? I had one that was workin' out pretty well for me there for a while, I guess it's gettin' to be too easy for me now. That's probably a sign I need somethin' different now, right? [Another big, happy grin.] So you got any cool ideas?

[He ends the recording there, and sets up a few (poorly done) filters.]

Hey Shuda, I was wondering if you could give me some help with my training, too.

Hey, Mr. Vegeta! I got the hang of that thing!

Hey Elie, umm...

[he cuts off his sentence early on that last one.]

I cannot bring myself to stop! Please, work hard to catch up to this speed! [It's not near to his full speed, though. And now he's leaping the first hurdles.]

[So he needs to catch up, then, huh? Well, then that calls for a little Silpharion action. He pulls the sword off his back and changes the sword to its Silpharion form, dramatically boosting his speed to the point where he's now blitzing past Lee as a breakneck speed.]

Ooohhh! [So impressive! Rock Lee is quickly speeding up and racing along to try catch up.]

[Haru glances back at Lee and notices him actually somehow actually starting to catch up now. No way...! Silpharion lightens his body and boosts his speed to superhuman levels, and Lee's catching up to him?

This really is going to kill him.]

[Yep! Here he comes, racing up towards him. And you know what? If he is able to catch up to Haru, he'll leap up above him and playfully kick him into the ground.]

[The bad thing about running at breakneck speeds is that if you take a fall, your momentum's going to keep you going. When Lee kicks Haru into the ground, he goes tumbling forward at high speed in a cloud of dust and dirt, and that cloud is now rolling straight at Lee. Better dodge if you don't want to get sucked in, Lee!]

[Wow suddenly things are obeying the laws of physics, what'a up with that.

But for Lee, it makes another obstacle. He dashes forth and will do his best to outrun this horrifying cloud.]

[It appears to be picking up speed now, Lee, advancing towards you.]

[And Lee is still rushing, doing his best to stay ahead. Will he be able to make this turn before he's caught in it?]

[He will indeed have the chance to make that turn! But only because the dustcloud suddenly launches into the air thanks to a sudden eruption of air off the ground that sends it skyward. Depending on how close he was, he may feel the burst of air spread outward from its epicenter and perhaps even lose his balance.

The main purpose of that, of course, was to give Haru additional momentum and velocity, having switched over to Mel Force and used its wind-based powers to launch himself into the air and dissipate the dustcloud. Once he lands back on the ground, he immediately changes back to Silfarion and continues his high-speed run, now once again ahead of Lee.]

[Well! That was something else. Lee is indeed knocked off his balance for a moment. He regains his footing soon enough and speeds up again, ready to pursue him all over again.]

[Oh god he's already catching up. Haru's not sure he can speed up anymore than he already is. He's taking both Rave and Silfarion to their limits.]

[Well here he comes! And this time he won't try to attack, but rather try to run alongside him.]

Now isn't this a hot-blooded workout? I'm starting to build up a sweat!

Y-yeah. Whatever you say, dude. [The only reason isn't currently pouring waterfalls out of his body is because his velocity right now is creating so much air resistance on his body right now preventing it from happening. Just what the hell are you that you can actually keep up with him, Lee...?!]

[He's Rock Lee, that's what.]

We can move on to the action portion soon! Ah, but it's a shame to slow down when we're moving at such speeds!

[Action! Maybe there he'll be able to keep up with Lee without feeling he's maxing out every fiber of his being.]

Got it! I'm ready for some action!

That's good to hear! Soon, you will get a taste of what it's like to fight the Cultists of the Third Party!

[The Cultists... He's heard talk about them and the Third Party. He even went on one of the drafts, but... he can't really say he had much of an experience with them. Everything was kind of just blowing up on that draft and he didn't get much of a look at his enemies.]

Alright, then I'll show you what I'm made of!

[The Cultists are generated and begin swooping towards them! Although these Cultists may look a little... different then imagined. They have bird heads and scaled lizard tails along with massive bat wings. And as they descend, they breathe fire.]

[The heck are those?! THOSE are what the Cultists look like?! Well, no matter. They've still gotta go down!

Skidding to a halt, and still using Silfarion, Haru swings at empty air, sending blades of air at each target. Once he's created enough shockwaves, he changes the swords form to Explosion, a long red edgeless blade. Doing that, the moment the shockwaves collide with their targets, they erupt into fiery explosions.]

[Rock Lee watches proudly, with his hands on his hips.]

Such impressive moves! Keep up the good work!
