ravelt | RAVE 0004 [Video]

[When the camera clicks on, it first pans over to what looks like a desolate wasteland. There are bodies and body parts strewn everywhere, craters marring the landscape, and the only thing breaking the erie silence was a strong breeze occasionally cutting across the land.

Suddenly, the camera shifts, giving an up close and personal look of someone's purple iris. It then pans back, revealing Haru making a skeptical face at the journal, as he tries to get it to work. He uses it so infrequently for making posts he still barely has an idea of how to use it properly. Thankfully, he takes notice that the thing seems to be working.]

Ah, cool! It's working! [He flashes a big grin at the camera as he puts the journal down on the ground.

He pauses for a moment, contemplating what exactly he's going to say now that he's got the chance to say it. It's really something he should have considered BEFORE turning on the journal, but, ah well. Spur of the moment ideas and all that. Finally, he opts to speak up.]

Hey, some of you guys out there use the Battle Dome pretty regularly, right? I was wonderin' if I could borrow some of your training simulations? I had one that was workin' out pretty well for me there for a while, I guess it's gettin' to be too easy for me now. That's probably a sign I need somethin' different now, right? [Another big, happy grin.] So you got any cool ideas?

[He ends the recording there, and sets up a few (poorly done) filters.]

Well, I've been practicing every day! It took me a lot of work just to get to this point, really. Before, I was always blowin' myself up instead of the tree. But then one day, it just kinda... clicked!

[And then he started blowing up trees from that day on.]

[Okay, relax, Haru. Breathe. Look how relaxed Elie is. You can do the same! You've known her forever. ...Okay maybe not forever, but long enough that you know you should be comfortable around her.]

Umm...

[Gulp.]

Well, I was wonderin' if you wanted to do somethin' together sometime. You know... Just the two of us.

[Is that Haru asking Elie out on a date? Kiiiiind of.]

Well, what I really needis new battle simulations.

I've got a few in there if you wanna call 'em up to mess with, just for the variety. [That was, if Haru didn't mind timed trials of being mauled by energy draining mushrooms.]

Besides that, are you looking to train something specific? Power, speed, anything like that?

Did you not hear clearly? Three hundred laps, and time is of the essence! [In fact, Lee is starting to jog already, but inviting Haru to catch up.]

[That... wasn't quite what she was expecting. You know how calm she was a moment ago? Yeah not so much right now. Right now, it's more of "I need to look for a paper bag to breathe into before I hyperventilate."

Give her a few moments to calm herself down and clean up the mess she made with trying to make posters for her dance-off.]

And somehow I'm not surprised you were just 'blowin yourself up'. [He rolls his eyes. Sigh @ u, Haru.]

Have you figured out how to fly then?

...How to what now? [He didn't just mishear you there, Vegeta, right? Did you just say "fly"?]

[Three... hundred... laps...

This is it, this is how Haru will die. He's accepted his fate now.]

Hey, wait up! [Might as well give it a shot then.]

[Crap, she went quiet. He messed up.]

Everything. [He's really kind of an all-around kind of guy.]

[All around was great. But, sometimes there were too many custom jobs that he needed to pull together from scratch.]

Uh. That's pretty broad. How about we start with something simple?

I don't believe I stuttered, now did I? [Now who isn't paying attention!]

I cannot bring myself to stop! Please, work hard to catch up to this speed! [It's not near to his full speed, though. And now he's leaping the first hurdles.]

[So he needs to catch up, then, huh? Well, then that calls for a little Silpharion action. He pulls the sword off his back and changes the sword to its Silpharion form, dramatically boosting his speed to the point where he's now blitzing past Lee as a breakneck speed.]

You didn't say I could learn to fly!

Uhh.... I guess... My speed? I'm already plenty strong.

Ooohhh! [So impressive! Rock Lee is quickly speeding up and racing along to try catch up.]

Y-y-yeah??

[No, don't give up now Haru! You might get to hold her hand if you keep this up!]

That isn't my problem that you couldn't figure that one out. Yes, you moron, if you can do that you should be able to fly already. [Gosh Haru, that's like learning to run before you walk.]

But I don't know. You'd probably manage to get yourself stuck in a tree, or wedged between some rocks or something.

Speed, huh? That's pretty simple...

...tell me, how feel about mushrooms?

[Good, because Shuda would've docked points if you were late. He's still already waiting when Haru gets there, though, Tenkuuzakura in its scabbard at his side.]

So you're actually on time. I'm impressed.

[Haru glances back at Lee and notices him actually somehow actually starting to catch up now. No way...! Silpharion lightens his body and boosts his speed to superhuman levels, and Lee's catching up to him?

This really is going to kill him.]

I said I'd be here. [Stupid Shuda.]
